About Shay Suazo

Shay started teaching as a certified teacher in 2004. She has a Bachelor's of Arts in Education and a Master's in Curriculum and Instruction in Reading. Throughout her career, Shay has taught general education in both elementary and middle school along with special education at the elementary level. Shay also won Teacher of the Year in the Marble Schools Independent School District in 2021. 

Shay's career in education has focused on ELA instruction, curriculum development and alignment, instructional support as an instructional coach, assessment design, ESL support, special education, and dyslexia support through Wilson.
